What is SCADA?

SCADA Stands for Supervisory control and data acquisition. SCADA is a system of software and hardware elements that allows an industrial organization. What is PLC & SCADA: PLC stands for Programmable Logic Controller. PLC is a microprocessor-based control system. SCADA is a type of industrial control system that is used to monitor and control facilities and infrastructure in industries.

Types of SCADA:  Basically there are three types of SCADA System

  • Early SCADA System
  • Distributed SCADA system
  • Network SCADA system

Software for SCADA: Generally Visualization Software is used for controlling and monitoring of Industrial system. HMI (Human Machine Interface) is also used through which we can control any machine easily and we can see its controlling.

Who Uses SCADA: SCADA is used in any Industries and companies. Though these are the public or private sectors and maintain efficiency, distribute data for smarter decisions, and communicate. SCADA system works satisfactorily in diffraction. SCADA system is playing a key role in many modern companies or industries. Where the SCADA system is used which is below

  • Electricity Generating Station
  • Food and Beverage Industries
  • Manufacturing Companies
  • Oil and Gas Companies
  • Transportation.

Without that SCADA system is used a lot of places.
